I'm Lauren Cole, and I'm running because I believe we can build something better, together.

Like a lot of people, I feel the weight of how hard things have become. Whether it's navigating healthcare, balancing work and life, or just trying to plan for the future, it can feel overwhelming. Too often, it feels like the people making decisions aren't the ones living through it.

That's why I decided to run.

I'm not a career politician. I'm someone who understands what it's like to work hard, to face challenges, and to keep showing up anyway. I believe real change doesn't come from the top down. It starts when we show up for each other and build stronger communities from the ground up.

Indiana is more than a place. It's our home. It's our families, our neighbors and the communities we care about. I believe we deserve leadership that reflects that.

This campaign is about all of us. It's about standing together, building the future we believe in, and making sure no one is left behind.

Affordable healthcare that listens

Living with a chronic illness has shown me firsthand how overwhelming our healthcare system can be. I've experienced what it's like for medical bills to stack up and how difficult it can be to rely on employer-based coverage that doesn't always meet your needs. I'm running to change that. I will fight to expand access to affordable, reliable coverage by protecting Medicaid access, supporting programs that help people afford insurance, and pushing back on policies that limit coverage eligibility.

Strong Public Schools

Our schools are the foundation of our communities, but too often they're asked to do more with less. Teachers are stretched thin, classrooms lack resources, and many families feel like their only option for a quality education is to pay out of pocket while public schools are left without the support they need. I will work to strengthen funding for public schools so every student has the resources they need, support and retain teachers by ensuring they have the tools and pay they deserve, and keep decision making focused on students, families and local communities.

Strong Businesses, Strong Workforce

When businesses succeed, our communities succeed. But that success should be shared. Right now, too many Hoosiers are working hard without feeling the full benefits of their efforts. At the same time, businesses need the right support to grow, hire, and invest in their teams.

We can do both.

I will work to support policies that encourage businesses to invest in their employees, align incentives so growth benefits both employers and workers, and promote workplace practices that strengthen long-term success for everyone. When we support businesses, and workers, we build stronger, more stable communities.
