Lauren Cole is a scientist, community advocate, and Hoosier running for Indiana House District 37 because she believes everyday people deserve leadership that understands the challenges families are facing.
Working in cancer clinical trials and healthcare has shown Lauren how difficult it can be for people to navigate rising healthcare costs and systems that often feel out of reach.
She believes government should work for the people it serves — not just those with power or influence.
Raised on values of kindness, hard work, and standing up for others, Lauren believes real change starts when communities come together and show up for one another.

Affordable Healthcare That Listens
Living with a chronic illness has shown Lauren firsthand how overwhelming and expensive healthcare can be. She believes everyone deserves access to affordable, reliable care that puts people first — not profits or politics.
Lauren will fight to protect Medicaid access, support affordable coverage options, and advocate for healthcare systems that are accessible and patient-focused.
Strong Public Schools
Public schools are the heart of our communities, but too many teachers and students are being asked to do more with less. Lauren believes every child deserves a quality education, regardless of their zip code.
She will work to strengthen public school funding, support and retain teachers, and keep decision-making focused on students, families, and local communities.
Strong Businesses, Strong Workforce
When businesses succeed, communities succeed — but hardworking Hoosiers deserve to share in that success too.
Lauren supports policies that help businesses grow while also investing in workers, creating stronger workplaces, stable families, and healthier local economies across Indiana.
